Interesting.
I totally agree in tip #3.
Being frustrated or deeply bothered by another employee can easily affect the quality of your work because your emotions and frustrations can stop you from putting your best work forward. In addition, if you can’t get along with your coworkers, you will never succeed at your job long-term.
Yes I have one co-worker who is constantly agitated at what others are doing around him. It really does affect his production. Very pointless thing to do in my opinion.
I have been guilty of #2. Working for someone else, where I could sneak into the shadows, I could get away with that. But working independently and freelancing, cutting corners doesn’t work. I’m on a mission to turn myself into a morning person so I can get into the habit of waking up early and starting the day off stronger and more productive.
Ha! Yes #2 is one that I would imagine most people commit. It is difficult when you work for someone. There is sometimes just no incentive to work harder then you must. I agree that working independently will quickly solve this problem.
